Undeniable truth; Josh Koscheck is a MMA villain.  Since his appearance on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, Koscheck came across as a bully and an instigator, especially when it came to Chris Leben.  Koscheck was probably pinned with the villain batch ever since.

Today, Josh Koscheck co-headlines a UFC event when he takes on Johny Hendricks at UFC on FOX 3: Diaz vs. Miller.  But how are fans and other media taking to this match?  Koscheck seems to think that MMA media as well as fans are taking sides against him this time.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Koscheck made clear that a lot of people are in fact “counting him out.”  “A lot of people are definitely counting me out on this fight.  A lot of media, a lot of people are,” said Koscheck.

Probably Josh is just being too sensitive about internet trolling and the usual keyboard tough guy/self-proclaimed MMA analysts that plague Twitter and Facebook.  If you do a search for #@JoshKoscheck, you will find that most of the posts you find are actually in favor of KOS.

It’s just a matter of the fans actually enjoying poking some fun and playful hate on a guy that’s made a living off of being the bad guy in the equation.  Yes, I know, you will find the sporadic Tweet linking to a video of Paul Thiago knocking Koscheck out senseless, but then again, it’s just playful hating I think.

Koscheck’s credentials are undeniable even though he has failed against the top of the crop in more than one occasion and his finishes come against guys well below the welterweight top 10. Still, Josh is still up there with the best of the best in his division and faces a very tough challenge in the heavy handed Johny Hendricks.

So, get your hating hats on, or just go on full support mode for your favorite fighter, but tune in tonight to UFC on FOX 3: Diaz vs. Miller and don’t miss this amazing card.

Who do you think wins the co-main event and how?  Will Koscheck survive Hendrick’s dangerous left hand?  Will Hendricks be able to deal with Koscheck’s heavy bag of Octagon experience?  Please leave your comments and picks.

UFC on FOX goes on LIVE tonight on FOX, check local listings for time and details.  You can also watch this event at www.ufc.tv.  Stay tuned for The MMA Truth on Twitter and on Facebook for updates and details.
