It is official now, “The Prodigy” BJ Penn will be visiting Puerto Rico to promote UFC 145: Jones Vs. Evans, as confirmed to The MMA Truth by a ZUFFA representative. Penn’s visit to the Island is part of an effort by UFC looking forward to making a comeback to a place that marks the beginning of the spreading of the UFC around the world and one of the most historically significant events in the early days of the company and the sport.

Puerto Rico welcomed the number one contender to the light heavyweight belt, “Suga” Rashad Evans along with the UFC Primetime cameras only a few weeks ago and the reception from fans was outstanding.
“It’s good, I’ve never had a reception like this anywhere I’ve been to,” said the former UFC champion and TUF winner told only seconds after landing in Puerto Rico.
